Vampire Support’s Current Mission:
Raise awareness about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico by putting together miscellaneous projects to encourage the world's youth to speak up for causes they believe in. All proceeds will go towards helping with the relief efforts. The vampire phenomenon has many fandoms and we believe every one of them can come together in a collaborative effort to help out with the Gulf crisis.
Thank you for your support!

Speak Up For Those Who Can't

Written by Chloe Dawn

Early this morning, I checked my Youtube page and saw that The National Wildlife Federation had posted a new PSA. Being the avid supported of NWF that I am, I clicked on it, unaware of the affects that this one video would have on me. The video starts out with a woman waking up in her bed, clean, happy, and healthy to be alive. In a flash, her world is turned upside down. She realizes there is oil on her hand, leaking from her shower, coming from her mouth, and destroying her once beautiful life. The part that caused me to start crying (yes this made me cry...a lot of these videos and articles tend to do that) was when she was laying in her once pure white cotton sheets, choking in oil. Wildlife on the coast are going through this on a daily basis. This is EXACTLY why I started Vampire Support. If this doesn't make your heart bleed for the animals that don't have a voice...I don't know what will. I'm yearning to help all of the animals, and sadly I can't. But what I can do is fight. Fight for their lives. I encourage you to do the same. Please take 30 seconds of your time to watch the video posted above. It will severely change your output on the situation. I am so happy to be working with NWF for the auction to raise money for animals that are put into the same situation the lady is in, if not worse. Make a difference. Speak up for those who can't.

  1. This video will make the difference with people who do not surrender yet realize the magnitude of the disaster, I think. It puts US in the situation and opens our eyes to the tragedy suffered by these poor animals. We must react!
